There’s a new rumor going around stating that the Company Lease Car Plan

  1. NCRO says:

    Dan,
In our conversations with Chrysler management on this issue they have told us that they are seriously looking at the possibility of re-instating the retiree lease program but did not indicate that it would be in the near future.

  2. Tom says:

I was informed by a manager still working in at CTC that the company is in favor of reinstatement for retirees but the current leasing company Chrysler has a contract with isn’t in favor of the
retirees in the lease car program.

      Tom,
      Same reply as above.

  3. This is a follow up on my New Car Lease experience that I received on a new Dodge Journey on Friday August 31, 2012. I must say it was a very happy and uneventful experience and time well spent with our salesman. I do not know if anybody reviews these but here is my presentation!

My wife and I went to Richmond Chrysler Dodge Jeep ( not listed at this time as a Retiree Friendly Dealer) to inquire about any new leasing prices to see about a renew and replace my 2010 Journey that was due to come off lease in February 2013. This was just a first time look around as we still had time left on the existing lease! We actually were not ready to get a new lease at this time only looking!
I was able to sit down and get a quote on a new Journey with a salesman by the name of
Mr. Brian Schneider. We were than able to take a ride out to the back lot to see what color and model of Journey was available.
After making our selection we came back inside the dealership with Brian and he completed writing up the new agreement. In the meantime my present vehicle was reviewed for turn in and was considered in excellant comdition. I guess we became ready for a new lease rather quickly! :))
Within about another hour Brian had the new Journey cleaned up and took us outside to review all of the aspects of this new vehicle, from stem to stern, (old boat talk). We must say he was and is a very pleasant and comfortable salesman to deal with and we will definately go back for our next vehicle.
Again I will say RCDJ may not be on the list of RFD dealerships but I would recommend anybody taking the time to go there and sitting down with Brian just to see what he could do for them.

In closing I want to say that I contacted two other dealers and one of them was a prior purchase dealer and on the RFD listing and I could not come up with ANY type of lease agreement.
Good luck to anybody that is looking to renew their leases in the future!
